Oregano is native to the Mediterranean and is an essential herb in Southern Italian cuisine. This warm, slightly bitter herb belongs to the mint family, along with other herbs like basil, rosemary, and marjoram. Fresh oregano is more aromatic, but can still be enjoyed in its dried form. Oregano is perfectly paired with tomatoes and other Mediterranean herbs!
Chop the tomatoes and Fette Biscottate into medium pieces and place into a bowl
Add the olive oil and sea salt
Tear the fresh oregano leaves and add to bowl
Toss all of the ingredients together and serve as a cold salad!
