In Italy, dessert is for special occasions. A stroll around the market for fresh fruit after dinner is a perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth any day! Use the last peaches of the season while you can, or swap out with apples or pears this fall!
Baked Peaches
Ingredients:
Peaches
2% Greek Yogurt
Feta or Goat Cheese
Sunflower Seeds
Coconut Flakes
Basil
Preparation:
Preheat oven 350F. Cut the peaches in half and pit them before placing on baking sheet. Bake until slightly tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Mix Greek yogurt with goat cheese for topping.
Assemble by placing peach half in a dish and dollop with yogurt cheese topping.
Sprinkle sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, and basil.
