The Easton Farmer’s Market was established in 1752 and has been serving the community since. For over 200 years, farmers have been bringing their goods to the center square and locals have been buying fresh fruits, vegetables, and other goods. Currently, the outdoor market is open on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings from May through August. Additionally, an indoor market was opened this year, which will operate year round. Easton is also home to many fantastic restaurants, and the State Theatre, where you can catch a variety of live shows!
Apple Ridge Farm
Apple Ridge Farm, from Saylorsburg, PA, is a sustainable family farm. Apple ridge brings a variety of products to the market each week including hydroponic produce pastured chicken, artisan breads and even handmade soap! Our favorites are the Pullman bread, which lasts for days, and makes great croutons when it’s past its prime!
Sholl Orchard’s, from Bethlehem PA, grows the best fruit around (using IPM practices). Sholl typically brings apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, plums, cherries and cider to the market, and occasionally vegetables too! Their fruits are perfectly ripened and refreshing. We recommend their peaches and apples!
Pickle Licious, from Teaneck, New Jersey, is a small family business that has been operating for 22 years. Pickle Licious brings pickles, olives, fresh garlic, and other pickled items to this market, and many others in New Jersey and New York (check their website to find a market near you!). We recommend their green olives- you wont stop popping them! We also suggest you buy some of their garlic and spread it on Apple Ridge Farm’s toasted Pullman bread.
Fieldstone Coffee Roasters and Tea
Fieldstone Coffee serves the BEST coffee in the area. We recommend you stop here first, and sip your coffee while you shop. Fieldstone offers fresh-roasted, organic fair trade, single origin coffees, and they even made an Easton Farmer’s Market Custom Blend. Our favorite is their Coconut Iced Coffee- its cool, smooth, and tastes like the tropics!
The indoor market was first opened earlier this year, and it’s amazing! The market contains many shops and restaurants and is sourced by many of the outdoor market’s vendors and local restaurants. The market also contains a “kitchen” where you can take a variety of cooking classes all through the week!
