Fiorella's Summer Fancy Food Show Picks!


I had another blast this year at the Summer Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center for Specialty Food Week in NYC.

Italy was the partner country and I really found some great Italian products among the mix of exhibitors form all over the world. They named their Sofi Award winners and below are my choices!

Pomi- if you are not canning your own tomatoes these are the next best thing from Italy and great pulpy texture.

Eat Well Embrace Life, Beet Hummus-they make hummus from other beans! I loved the Beet Hummus and Zesty Sriracha Carrot hummus.

Olive Oil from D'Orazio Frantoio Oleario- from the lovely Apulia region and masters of packaging.

Perle All'Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP- loved these pearls of Balsamic Vinegar to add to salads, cocktails and desserts!

Need some Frutti di Mare for your next antipasti plate?- try these from Medusa- octopus, sardines and salmon carpaccio...
