A healthy diet that is varied and filled with whole foods can help prevent cancer. Some tips:

  1. Eat a Plant Based Diet- doesn’t necessarily mean no animal protein just more fruit, veggies and legumes.

  2. High Fiber Diet-Aim for 28-30 grams of fiber a day-nature’s detox

  3. Limit Processed Foods with Nitrites, cured, smoked and dried

  4. Cook on Low Temperatures to prevent charring of proteins which can have carcinogenic effects

  5. Spice Things Up!- add antioxidant rich spices such as garlic, ginger , rosemary and turmeric
